Mold spores can be considered viable [living] or non-viable [non-living] and both can be detrimental to your health. Depending on the type of mold and the quantity, or spore count, we discover our mold professionals will have the information they need to develop an effective mold remediation plan for you.
Types of Indoor Air Quality Tests
Atlantic Corp. generally performs two types of indoor air quality tests:
A Spore Trap is utilized to identify non-viable spores that may be present. Results from this test are generally available with in 48 hours.
The Anderson Air Test identifies viable mold spores and because this test requires us to allow mold to grow in a petri dish, results are generally available within 6 – 9 days after testing is completed.
