Types of Indoor Air Quality Tests

Atlantic Corp. generally performs two types of indoor air quality and mold tests:

A Spore Trap Test is utilized to identify non-viable spores that may be present. Results from this test are generally available with in 48 hours.

The Anderson Air Test identifies viable mold spores and because this test requires us to allow mold to grow in a petri dish, results are generally available within 6 – 9 days after testing is completed.

Indoor Air Quality Testing Process

Testing your indoor air quality is a fairly non-invasive process. Our mold experts will set up a tripod and an air pump in your space. Once the equipment is set up, we’ll turn on the pump to expose our testing medium to a sufficient volume of your indoor atmosphere.
