Raleigh Certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialists

By In Company News On March 31, 2014

Atlantic Corp. recently earned certification as an Air Systems Cleaning Specialist by NADCA. What does that mean for our customers? It means we are certified to professionally clean HVAC systems and air ducts in your homes and businesses. It is part of our ongoing efforts to provide the highest quality mold remediation services in the greater Raleigh – Durham area.

Mold and Your HVAC System

Over our years in business one thing has been a consistent concern.  If we’ve found mold in a home or business, chances are also very good we would find that the mold has been circulated by and present in the HVAC system and duct work. A majority of the mold remediation jobs we have completed in recent years have also included a thorough inspection and cleaning of the HVAC system, most often by an outside contractor.  Now with this certification, we are able to perform this work ourselves.

Signs of Mold in Your HVAC  System

mold growth around an air ventThere are several indicators that you may have mold in your HVAC system.  You may notice a musty odor coming from air ducts or may see visible signs of microbial grown on air duct vents and/or on the wall or furnishings just outside the air duct vent. Additionaly, you, your family or coworkers may experience unexplained respiratory symptoms or distress.

If any of these symptoms are present in your home or place of business we encourage you to contact us to perform a thorough mold inspection. Call us at 919-832-8151 or send us an email using this form.
