Residential Duct Cleaning Services

COVID 19 Disinfection

To combat COVID 19, the CDC has recommended frequent cleaning with EPA registered disinfectants effective against COVID 19.  Studies have shown that the small particles in the COVID 19 virus can be absorbed into the HVAC system via the return ducts. Our hospital grade Microban fog can reach difficult surfaces that traditional spraying techniques can’t and can be added to our duct cleaning services. Microban is approved as an EPA registered disinfectant effective against COVID 19.

Our Air Duct Cleaning Process

How it is Different than Other Companies but Comparable in Price

  • Step 1: Our experts connect a negative air pressure machine to your HVAC system, which will pull air from your ducts like a vacuum. This negative pressure helps ensure that we don’t contaminate your home while removing any debris and mold from your air ducts.
  • Step 2: Commercial-grade products and equipment are used to  methodically move through every air vent in the building forcing up to 200 lbs. of compressed air through the vents using agitation tools that can snake as far as 100 feet through the ducts. The combination of agitation and positive and negative air pressure dislodges the contaminants, mold and debris in the air duct system. As a part of the process we wash and sanitize all the vent registers.
  • Step 3: Contaminants are pulled out of the duct system and through the filtration system, returning clean air back into the facility.
  • Step 4:  After the ducts are thoroughly cleaned we then clean and sanitize the HVAC unit itself including the evaporator coils, condensation pan, blower motor and interior housing.
  • Step 5: The final step is to sanitize the entire duct system. If mold had been present an environmentally friendly biocide will be introduced to the system to kill any remaining mold spores.

Most air duct cleaning companies simply connect a high powered vacuum to your vents and most often do not sanitize or clean anything. The last thing you want to do is loosen debris, dust and mold spores into your home and possibly damage the most expensive appliance in your home by hiring a non-certified professional. Contact us today to ensure your air ducts are professionally cleaned by certified experts the safe way at prices comparable to companies that do not offer the proper services.

Mycotoxins and Mold

Here is an informative video produced by the IAQ Video Network on the topic of mycotoxins and mold.   From the video: A mycotoxin is a toxic secondary metabolite produced by some types of fungi, also commonly referred to as mold.
